Logan

Hello, my name is Logan, and I am so glad you are here! I am a graduate student at the University of South Carolina working towards my master’s in Counselor Education Ed.S. I have a background in the arts and sciences, as I majored in sociology, and double-minored in psychology and counseling during my time in undergrad. My areas of interests in the field include working from third-wave (CBT, ACT, DBT), trauma-focused, and person-centered theories. I am passionate about working with couples, adolescents, young adults, and those within the LGBTQQIAP+ community.

Hi! I believe everyone deserves a safe, compassionate space where they can feel heard, understood, and supported. My counseling approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping clients explore the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical skills for positive change.

My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and supporting adolescents and young adults, and as a bilingual counselor in English and Spanish, I value culturally responsive care that honors each client’s background, experiences, values, and strengths. I believe counseling is most effective when it is collaborative, genuine, and centered on the individual, and I work alongside clients to explore their experiences, understand patterns, build on their strengths, develop practical coping skills, and work toward meaningful goals. My approach is integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential Therapy, and other approaches based on each client’s needs, while creating a supportive space where healing, resilience, self-understanding, and personal growth can take place under professional and university supervision.
